Dr. Richardson offers a full range of IQ and Academic Achievement testing for children, adolescents and
adults. There can be considerable overlap between ADD and Learning Disabilities, up to 40% in some studies, so it is
often important for the presence or absence of learning problems be assessed as part of a comprehensive ADD evaluation.
Psychoeducational tests include the Wechsler IQ and Achievement tests, the Wide Range
Assessment of Memory and Learning, the Wide Range Achievement Test - Third Edition, the Wechsler
Memory Scale, and others. Some specific neuropsychological tests, such as the Stroop Color Word Test,
the Symbol Digits Modality Test, Trails, Tower Builder and other tests
can be used to further evaluate your child's specific cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
Personality test are available at Advanced Psych Care with Dr. Richardson, including the Minnesota Multiphasic
Personality Inventory - Second Edition (MMPI-2), the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI),
the Millon Adolescent Personality Inventory (MAPI), and others.
Dr. Richardson conducts fitness evaluations for local Police Departments. He also performs
psychological readiness evaluations for patients undergoing Bariatric surgery, and surgery for back pain.
For adult clients who are trying to decide on a career choice that takes into account their abilities and
personalities, Dr. Richardson offers the Career Assessment Inventory and the Strong
Interest Inventory.
